I am happy to say I am a lucky person in this regard. I have found a garage that I use who is not the cheapest to use, but as I find time is of a premium, the car has (so far) never had to go back. He is nowhere near as expensive as a dealer but quality is comparable if not better. I have, in the past, used all sorts of garage facilities, and am not surprised at the report you have attached. In one case - I had an exhaust fitted at a well known suppliers and had to take the car back no less than 6 times!! A Terrible Situation - (look at the capitals) that an exhaust takes that much to fit it properly. As someone who works in the medical profession, I am sickened by the wanton disregard that some mechanics have for our cars. I am not afforded the luxury of doing a "half arsed" job when I deal with people - so why should they when they are tasked with servicing our cars. As Kev has already mentioned the money side of the argument - I will cease my rant here. haha. Andy
