Bought my car in Oct 02, at which time it was 6 months old with 10,000 miles on the clock I work as a kitchen fitter and so needed an estate to carry my tools. Ive always liked the Focus so I started looking round for a TDi Estate and very nearly bought one, but then I read a test on the new TDCi and the extra power appealed to me After searching every dealership in Yorkshire, I eventually found a Ford dealer, and after one test drive I was hooked I was used to driving an Escort 1.8 petrol, which was pretty quick, but the Focus was in a different league Mid range power is superb, even now after I have had the car 13 months it still never ceases to surprise me when I put my foot down in third gear. The car as now done 27,000 miles and so far it has cost me 2 new tyres at £130 and one service at £125 from a Ford main Dealer Other than that I have had no problems whatsoever with the car. I intend to keep the car for at least the next 10 years and I only hope that when I do change it there is something on the market that is as good because the Focus takes some beating. |
