Id driven a series of Focuses before I got this one and Id thought they were all pretty good. But theyre nothing compared to this The engine is fantastic - loads of torque and unbelievable mid-range acceleration (most outside lane tailgaters cant believe it either!). Youd struggle to tell it was a diesel, except on cold morning starts when you get the traditional diesel rattle. I dont drive sedately and I still get 50+mpg out of it Why anyone drives a petrol car when there are diesels like this around Ill never know It handles like a go-kart and its smooth and quiet on the motorway. The interior is well put together and the seats are superb. Its well equipped and, to my eye, still looks good Its a company car and very lean on the CO2 emmissions (18%). Had it been my own money I probably wouldnt have bought one of these. But now that Ive driven it I wouldnt buy anything else. |
