Has anyone else had problems with low speed, complete engine cutout Ive had this car for three months now, it has been back to the Ford garage for investigation but presumably nothing was found as they never even had the courtesy to say a thing, they just dumped the car back on the drive I have had thoughts that it is me trying to get used to the new and quite strange driving position but as time goes on I am a little disenchanted at suddenly having no drive. It feels like a bump stop - the garage say that you are unable to bumpstart it so there must be some logic somewhere To be serious, this is very dangerous and at times I have to quickly hit the hazard warning lights. Slow speeds are usually because of; junctions, islands, or other hazards and stalling at such times is not to be recommended Can any one shed any light on either the cause or the cure (On later ringing the garage, they did venture to say that the PCM software had been updated.) Oh, and yes, like many others the change of pollen filter resulted in a very wet passenger footwell There are many positive aspects to this car and if only the stalling could be solved I would really like it. As it is I feel unable to fully trust the car. Can you help?
