Very disappointed with this car - I have owned it for 18 months and it ran brilliantly until a few months ago when it started playing up and hasnt stopped First the engine warning light came on while I was driving - took it to the garage and diagnosed as a problem with a cat sensor, so that solved it I thought, but no Over the next 3 weeks the light came on a further 3 times so it went back to the garage each time that kept clearing the fault only for the light to come on again. During all this the engine kept running ok. Then a month ago I was on the motorway when the light came on again only this time it was flashing and then my engine started coughing and spluttering, I was rapidly losing power and conking out but managed to get off the motorway and called the breakdown service It was diagnosed as a problem with my spark plugs, which just packed up whilst driving on the motorway, although Ive never heard of that before Currently the car is at least running although Im not happy with how it starts since it often only fires up on the 2nd or 3rd try which should not be the case with a 2 year old car - basically I have no confidence in this car at all. |
