It was bought at 68k miles. Very entertaining to drive especially at high revs and a real head turner with the roof down I have heard numerous stories of leaking roofs, but that has not been a problem, yet. In my part of the world CRX convertibles are very rare and so are head turners especially with the roof down Mechanically sound and respectable fuel consumption for something this fast (0-60 in 7secs, although Honda estimate says 7.8). Only modification is that my CRX is lowered for aesthetic purposes Incredible performance for a 1.6L that weighs 1120kg., the handling is very light although responsive. Electrically however, I have experienced a very annoying rev counter problem It works perfectly until the car heats up properly! I have found the Honda dealer utterly useless when using them. They cannot fix the rev counter problem after hours of inspection. The dealer says it’s a typical Honda problem that when something goes wrong it’s near impossible to find and fix! What do the dealers actually do then I asked myself? They complete services too nowhere near my satisfaction is what, I had to add coolant and oil within a week of a service although there is no leak to be found On the whole a very reliable and quick car. Would definitely recommend a well looked after one. |
