Very satisfied with the car, done 36k miles since May 01 without any mechanical problems, but there has been some frustrating faults (features if you work for Honda) 1. Nighthawk Black paint scratches so easily that you can’t use a sponge to wash the car & remove bird muck (Honda acted as if I had used a brillo pad) 2. Rear seat belts have this annoying feature that if you lean forward they will then only retract making the passengers have to release the belt then fasten again. I bought this car for use with a newborn rear facing baby seat as the belts in the back made the fitting impossible. The only make of seat to work was a Brittax that comes with a pram that takes up all the room in the boot. Honda acknowledged that larger people can’t ride in the rear of their cars but insisted that the belts had given them 5 star safety rating (how can this be if passengers have to remove seat belts in motion?) 3. Every now and again the radio will re-set and you have to find the code number and then enter all the stations 4. Sleeping Policemen have to driven over at 15mph max Overall I’m happy with the car maybe I’m not old enough to own a Honda, if I had eyesight problems, no young family or friends to ride in the rear, never listen to the radio, and only drive at 15mph then it would be more than a reliable taken for granted car. |
