My car is now about 3 months old. It has developed a fault on cold starting so the revs go up to 12/1300 for a minute or so until the engine is warm This involves using the brake and clutch until the revs drop back down The Skoda dealer assures me this is a normal function of the car and they cannot/will not do anything about it As it is slightly dangerous I would be interested to know what other Skoda owners think about it. rkh@beamtop.com
