1 peach Best car Ive ever owned. Ive covered 30,000 miles in the last 15 months and the car has never missed a beat Only minor problem was a faulty sensor in the coolant reservoir, this was fixed under warranty. Fuel consumption averages about 35 mpg, which is superb for a car producing 180 bhp. Ive had many comments on how good the car looks and most people cant believe its a Skoda Its also good value, servicing is very reasonable, only ?£47 for 10,000 mile service and ?£127 for 20,000 mile at my Skoda dealer. Tyres are a bit pricey though I cant recommend this car highly enough, the build quality is excellent, its fast enough to embarrass most BMWs, comfortable, great to drive and comes with plenty of kit as standard If youre after something quick and a bit different, try the VRS, you wont be disappointed.

Skoda dealer and breakdown service OK apart from relay service being over 2 hours late New water pump fitted under warranty with replacement car while work was carried out. Also had 2 new front speakers fitted under warranty as the old ones had started to sound distorted Still highly recommend the Octavia VRS despite these two problems.</font> |
