I have to drive many different makes/types of car. In 40 years of driving this is the first car that I have no problem in recommending Huge boot, firm seating (ideal for my back) although legroom a little cramped in the back. In 30k I had a problem with air bag warning, averaged 56mpg over period My daughter now has the car, covered 40k, and just replaced the tyres Have now bought an Octavia 1.9tdi Ambient Estate Both cars imported no problems with warranties. Highly recommended. <br> <br>UPDATE: Again an import cost me &pound;10900 new. A good example of vfm but excludes climate control. I keep a detailed computerised account of my cars and this one again averages 56mpg. Certainly no slouch, good positive road holding especially on motorways. Outshines my brother in law’s Rover 75 TDi estate, although the Skoda looks smaller has a larger load area and a full size spare wheel. Have now covered 17k in 14 months, 1st service &pound;64 as yet, no problems of any description, 2yr warranty. A good tower having towed both an Abbey GT215 and Marauder 380. A good solid quality motor.
