Skoda Octavia 1.8 T 20 V was purchased in 1999 from local dealer in UAE - Dubai Middle East with hot climate and good roads, the Car has done 106000 Km as on 31/12/02 Positive points very powerful for a 1.8 cc, good acceleration and top end 220Km, good handling, (with wider tires and lowered springs) roomy interior and trunk Negative points: All 4 door electric winder replaced, battery replaced, petrol tank sensor, both engine fans replaced, all 4 shocks replaced, Air conditioner repaired 2 times, now the clutch has to be replaced, the head / engine has to be replace because some part of the head has been damaged due to chemical action/eating of the coolant. Inner part of turbo has cracks at internal welding. The car was never used for drag/race or abused with rash driving. Used as an office going family car.
