Its now 27/09/04 I bought my Punto in Nov 03 brand new looked great and it felt great for about a month. After a month I noticed that the engine revved itself when the car was stationary, this had a knock on effect with the electrics so when the lights were on the dimmed with the revs of the car! I took the car in and they told me that the accelerator shaft has bent so theyll fit a new one and this should stop the problem, (it didnt). Now the car has decided to shudder violently when starting in first gear and when reversing. Let me know if anybody has come across this with their fiat and what you did to get it fixed.
