Nothing but bother. Bought the car second hand and was fine for a few months. The engine then began to overheat and a new head gasket and sump were fitted. Three months later the same happened again, and repairs this time cost £150 for the same problems The car was fine for another few months until it began to overheat in traffic, the problem this time was an air lock, which caused it to overheat. This caused some damage to the engine as it is now completely shot It overheats after 20 minutes of driving so a new head gasket is again likely. The fan doesn’t seem to want to work so a new motor, thermoswitch, or thermostat may be needed It is also leaking fuel from the fuel pump, which is causing it to "stutter" when accelerating. I am getting rid of this as soon as it is fixed, but fears of a required engine rebuild makes me wonder whether it is necessary to spend so much to fix it when I won’t even get that much money back for it It’s is also slow and horrible to drive, other than these "minor" problems, an OK car! |
