I recently snapped one of my Punto keys in half and have been forced to buy a new one from a main dealer because Fiat will not release the programme codes to the "copy" transponder key manufacturers. (Other car manufacturers do) The biggest of whom are an Italian company The key took over a week to arrive and 20 mins. to programme. Cost: £34.00 for the key and £39.00 for the programming. This means that no locksmith in the UK can cut a key for your Punto that will actually start the car Take care - You have been warned! |
