Bought car with 11.5K and traded in after four and a half years with approx. 85K on the clock. Used nearly every day combined motorway and town driving and had no problems until around 70K when clutch required to be replaced, both rear radius arms replaced (at different times), sump corroded, rocker cover gasket replaced and coil replaced Up until this time only routine maintenance. Also used car for several motorway round trips of 700 or 800 miles and never had a problem. Sits at 85mph no bother but a touch noisy All I would say is if youre thinking of buying one with around 70K on the clock then think twice or if youve got one at that mileage then think of changing. I shelled out around £1,000 on the above items in my last year of ownership. Probably no more than £100 per year up to that time. |
