Thought Id give Fiat one more go to see if shoddy quality on parents previous cars now rectified - unfortunately not. Car now 2 years old and has been back to dealer almost a dozen times for niggly faults (sunroof stuck open, noisy brakes, dodgy paint etc.), all fixed under warranty Still for just over £10k you get a well-equipped car (win airbags, dual PAS, six speed, trip computer, excellent CD system) that looks smart (alloys, body kit) and is plenty quick enough whilst still averaging 40mpg around town. Most comfortable car seats Ive sat in too. Handles fine (but not a patch on small Fords Ive owned) but ride is rock hard, jarring your spine over every little bump in the road (non-sporting model Ive ridden in was fine) Overall, good value for money, but Ill be looking for something better built (i.e. not Italian) with a better ride soon. |
