Just about to hand the company car back after nearly 3 years. Car hasnt missed a beat and provided sturdy service. A few downsides though but this is nitpicking at the end of the day:-
Trim does feel a bit cheap when you compare with the new Euroboxes, however it never squeaked or rattled in 95000 miles (fair play Ford).
Engine is a little noisy and gear ratios do tend to be a bit long, however 40mpg on long runs and ST170 is raucous in comparison
Seating position gives me a stiff neck every long journey, Ford should have fitted a footrest.
Radio is OK apart from the middle buttons warping in summer and turning the radio off without warning.
Climate pack is a must (Aircon and the essential heated screen, allows you to be smug at all the other drivers trying to dig their cars out while you sit for 30 seconds in the car)
Boot space to put the old Mondeo to shame though carpets are difficult to clean, getting out the garden remnants and the head rests on the back seats feel like they weld themselves into the seats everytime.
Windscreen does seem to attract stones (aerodynamics anyone?).
Appetite for headlamp bulb (on the 3rd pair now)and they are a bit fiddly to change.
Overall brilliant car but Im bored now, want something else.

Note to the driving instructor, I passed my Part 2 ADI in mine and it was an easy drive. Visibility in the estate is much better than the Hatch for those reversing exercises and the ease of drive allows you to demonstrate a bit of advanced motorist panache to the examiner.
