Having had my spare wheel stolen after 6 weeks of purchasing the car from new, Ive just had an infuriating conversation with Vauxhall customer care (ha) I guess I knew it was pointless but had hoped that they might feel inclined to at least help out with the cost of the lock thats necessary to stop it happening again They are standing by their guns in that they believe the wheel cradle is perfectly fit for purpose even though they know how ridiculously vulnerable they are When I was sold my replacement wheel (from Vauxhall), the guy wouldnt even put it back in the cradle as he said it was pointless unless I wanted it stolen again. Its now in the boot Ive also had to book it back into the garage as the brakes howl when I reverse.
