We received our Zafira last June. Within a couple of weeks, I was noticing the fuel consumption was high, much higher than the 1.8ltr Citroen estate we had previously I took the car to the dealer to get it checked, I told them the consumption I was getting; urban 22, combined 29 and extra urban 31mpg, they did not seem surprised and said "that was about right". They checked the car updated the ECU software and did a few "tweaks" and then said that is all they could do until the first service The fuel consumption has not improved, I now notice there is no vacuum present when I open the fuel filler and there is a "growl" from the engine, not bad for a car that has only done 5,789 miles from new Is there anyone else with these problems I will need to check if the spare wheel is still there, after reading the messages. |
