I bought this car in 2003 from a Vauxhall Network Q garage with 16000 on the clock. Within two weeks the dealer tried to con me out of ?£200 + for changing various rear brake components that were making a creaking/squeaking sound I protested loudly and vocally on the phone and then in front of a packed service department, pointing to the "award winning" Network Q. The cost of the work was miraculously reduced to " FOC, (free of charge, PoL) goodwill gesture" Vauxhall Customers: stand your ground The problem of the squeaking brakes still returns intermittently. Currently using oil at a rate of 1 litre per 2000 miles - not too bad I suppose. Fuel gauge is not very accurate if car is parked on slight incline - Vauxhall cant solve this either Interior is very, very dull to live with. Summary, dealers would get 4 lemons, the versatility of the flex-7 system gets 5 peaches overall...its a peach. |
