The car gives you so much flexibility, and is much better to drive than my previous Vectra but 3 problems have arisen 1. The first seems to be quite common, as I had a problem starting the car when parked facing up a slope. The petrol had just dipped into the red and didnt seem to be getting through. I put a gallon in manually and it started first time 2. The second was a bigger problem with the vehicle stalling when it came to a junction. Vauxhall initially thought it was the throttle body, which they replaced with no success. They then said it was the ECU giving a false reading and the whole ECU needed to be replaced It transpired that they had no spare ECUs in the UK or Europe, so had to wait for a new one. It was 2 months out of warranty, but Vauxhall agreed to pay a percentage of the parts 3. The third is just an irritation that the windscreen wipers wont wipe the whole of the drivers side, which was even more noticeable in the snow, as ended up with a solid piece of snow down the right hand side of the windscreen which made the pillar bigger. |
