Ive had this Opel from new. I average 10K a year and find I top up oil twice between services. Only since its last service have I had a problem with it cutting out. It happens at junctions and also from cold starting. Its a pain to restart as it is automatic and the only way is to rev and then drive on high rev (a challenge with left foot on the brake) Its now in the garage getting its service (warning lights for oil, coolant) and getting fixed for the cutting out problem. Garage called to say the car is recording a throttle problem and something to do with air mixing but they dont know what is causing the problem Does anyone know if this is fixable for good? I do like the car and would like to keep it if I can fix this. |
