I bought my Zafira 12 months ago and have never had a vehicle with so many problems. It drinks oil at an amazing rate. A return trip on the motorway of 500 miles used well over a litre of oil Ive had a whole host of problems with the engine cutting out which Vauxhall couldnt diagnose but turned out to be a vacuum problem. My Vauxhall dealer was going to change the engine management unit along with different sensors I checked the net and vacuum problems are now very common in the older models but the dealers seem to be in the dark. The car has 50,000 miles on the clock but and is not driven hard but all the brake and suspension components are failing one after another. The fuel pump had to be replaced The dealer always expresses surprise because "these things hardly ever fail". The car is a money pit and I’ll never have another Vauxhall.
