Punto 1.2 Active Sport bought new in September 2002. Clutch judder in first year after 6000 miles, clutch replaced. Clutch judder again after another 6000 miles, Fiat tell me they know of the problem and are awaiting a modification before they can replace the clutch again.
<br>Modified clutch eventually fitted in August 2004, its gone again after 2 months. Car is only 2 years old with less than 16K on the clock.
<br>Have written to Fiat UK asking them to buy the car back off me, awaiting a response but not very hopeful as Area Manager alleged to have said there’s no chance. Could be in for a lengthy battle, but believe I have consumer law on my side.
