I’ve had my 1.1SX for about four years now and it has just clocked 107,000 miles. It has had its fair share of mechanical problems: the head gasket started to go at about 90,000 miles and the sump needed replacing a few months before that. It has, however, had the same exhaust for 60,000 miles and doesn’t eat tyres or brake pads.
<br>I can also live with a knocking suspension on city bumps, it’s liking for tram lining and the lukewarm acceleration (it is an 1.1 after all). And with economy consistently being over 50 mpg (55 mpg on a hot day!) I’d have to say it’s not a bad car at all.
