I have had a few problems with my Fiat since I bought it new in 2000. The gearbox went just after 18 months. I have had the juddering clutch since new, which no one at fiat could hear or feel. I found a simple solution to fix the juddering clutch, by accident... I reversed down a big hole and was stuck half in and half out. I tried to get out but the car wasnt powerful enough, there was loads of smoke coming from the engine, which was the clutch burning. Since then the juddering has stopped, it must have just needed ragging a bit to nock it back into place!
<br>Also the windscreen wipers have broke & instead of replacing the small part that is needed.... you have to buy the complete unit...what a farce, a few elastic bands do the trick. Its been like that for 2 years now & still works! I wont be purchasing another fiat, I’m keeping this one till it dies...as I’m only 4 more payments from owning it... hurray!!! |
