Bought ex-demo vehicle from Priory Mazda, excellent service from dealer, 10 months old and 4.7K miles. 4 months later and 10K miles on it has proved to be a first class choice. Anyone over 6 4" who wants a good seating position combined with good forward visibility without reclining the seatback to an angle that will eventually cause back problems should take a serious look at the Premacy. So far the vehicle has proved faultless, the mpg is around 48-50 according to conditions, it handles well, keeps up with the traffic, the 2l turbo diesel, although only 100bhp, has tremendous torque, is very flexible - removing the need for many gear changes. Gear change is light and slick. Many magazine reports, based on the early versions, mention understeer and noise. The later versions do not suffer from either as far as I can tell. |
