I have visited this site on behalf of my neighbor who has a Zafira & a recurring rattle which the dealer appears unable to fix. Having read all the comments Im reluctant to to tell him. The various comments, particularly about oil consumption, concern me. It does seem that Vauxhall are fobbing buyers off by telling them nonsense. Modern cars should not be burning the amounts of oil quoted. I will advise my neighbour to place the dealer on notice that after giving them a 4th & last chance to repair it If they fail he will complain to Trading Standards that the car is not fit for its purpose before demanding his money back + costs to date. All who used a finance or credit card company should also place them on notice because under the terms of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 they are equally as liable as the dealer. Furthermore the dealer will be contacted by the finance company as soon as they find out bringing pressure on the dealer to put it right |
