Bought Punto second hand one year old, with one year of warranty left to run, severe clutch judder, two clutches before Tun Wells Fiat Dealer admitted problem with clutches and then refused to replace again until Fiat came up with a modified clutch. Knocking from engine when cold, oil leaks from sump and rocker cover. Damaged steering while replacing clutch, this was pointed out by the AA but dealer refused to recognise it was thier fault. Constant knock from from rear offside, constant squeak from rear nearside, rear suspension replaced twice, front pads and discs replaced 4 times, trim falling off all over the car, to numerous to mention, power steering keeps failing, lights keep going haywire and interacting, it goes on and on..... Not bad for a 2 1/2 year old car with only 18,000 miles on the clock. How Fiat get away with it is beyond me, and as the the dealers, I have never been treated so badly by anyone supposidly providing a service, do they have any repeat customers. N |
