Bought my Type r from local showroom. Delivery was 3 weeks early, although the leather seats didnt arrive (I decided to cancel the leather). Decided to get it in Cosmic grey, as I read other owners had problems with Nighthawk black paint flaking off the bodywork during jetwashing. Looks absolutely stunning. I have had the car for a year now and have completed 6000 miles of pure exhilaration. Honda have been excellent - only 1 small problem since new - slight knocking on steering - Honda took the car in for a day and modified the suspension - no problems since. The best thing about the car is the engine - I have had no problems with high oil consumption, infact I have only topped it up 3 times in a year. The acceleration is amazing, especially when the engine hits 5,900rpm, it totally changes personality and gives you a huge boost of power up until 7,900rpm. I am in ?£20,000 worth of debt so I could get this car and I dont regret a single moment - best decision I have ever made. I shall be a Honda fan forever now. Dont be another sheep - get yourself one! |
