Purchased new in April, noticed after 2 weeks the sill and door met and was removing paint. Had car inspected by 5 bodyshops all said car manufactured wrong, but none could say why without stripping car down. Dealer sent car to Fiat UK in the end who just put two spacers behind door hinge and moved front wing forward 2mm. Car looks OK now....but the build quality on Fiats...never again will I buy one! Looked into rejection but as over ?£5k and had car 3 weeks it a case of the Judge on the day deciding when I had accepted the car some Judges would say 3 weeks is reasonable and Id win, some would say the minute I drove off the forecourt is acceptance, so court to risky. Just have to hope the wing and spacers last! |
