I bought this car 2nd hand from a car supermarket. It had 16,000 miles on it and it was 1 year old. I have had it serviced by the main dealer and it has had a couple of warranty items, 1) a water leak in passenger footwell due to faulty fitting of the cabin pollen filter during service, 2) rust bubbling up around the bright trim on the boot handle (a known manufacturing defect apparently, caused by not fitting a spacer washer between handle and body) and, 3) replacing a creaking suspension trailing arm. The dealer has sorted all out under the 3 year warranty with no problem. It has not actually broken down, and overall, I remain happy with the car. It certainly drives well. It now has 36,000 miles on the clock and will be 3 years old this Nov 2005. |
