Bought this ex demo, to replace a very naughty Alfa 156 (Sadly a lemon!) The wife now has a ZT so I have inherited the Focus at 60K, as she does all the miles bless her. Weve never had to much trouble with the Focus, only thing I do find is you can stall it quite easy, which Ive never managed to do in any other diesel motor, its been into the dealers, but cant find a fault, also the heater / aircon can stop without warning, it turns out to be a dicky multplug connector, so a cable tie around the offending connector seems to have cured that, I plan to run the focus to 150K ish before replacing and to be honest if it keeps going like this I shall have another one, handles very well, excellent on fuel, plenty of get up and go, For an A to B and do the job motor, Im well pleased with it. |
