ALARMS
<br>Am on my 3rd Zafira - 1st being 1800 Elegance Auto & now on 2nd GSI Turbo, both the GSIs having been fitted with electronic clutches as Im disabled.

<br>In answer to all those who have had alarm problems - you will most likely find its due to a loos connection at the back of the radio - funny I know but after suffering this with the 1st Zaf and not getting anywhere with VX, one day the thought hit me - dicky connection causing pwer flux. The dealer thought I was mad but on getting on to VX service at Luton - yes they had heard of that and the cd/radio was changed. Never had a problem after that. Did have the same prob with bothe the GSIs tho and the same fix worked on both. My dealer hates me!!!

<br>As to my love of Zaffies, the Elegance was a dream with not a hint of trouble but very thirsty on fuel.
<br>Both GSIs have had troubles - the 1st was an early model and suffered brake problems until a mod came out - then it ran like a dream for 3 years.
<br>This one suffered loss of clutch fliud from a leak at 1000 miles and had to have a complete clutch set up replaced - other than that - a fantastic car.
<br>All seem to be fuel thirsty tho - the GSis only mangaing about 20 round town and 30 on a run. |
