I bought this car when it was 3 years old at the start of 2004, I have had less than a years worth of hassle free motoring and a year and a halfs worth of problems.
<br>Bad points - this car eats front tyres and needs the tracking adjusted frequently, the starter motor worked 60% of the time during winter, the power steering would cut out when you hit full lock within the first few minutes of starting the car during winter, clutch disintigrated after 45k miles cracking the gearbox casing only last month which I managed to have welded. This is why I have just traded this car in for a one year old Almera which I pick up next week. Some engine components and parts of the engine bay and underside of bonnet rusting already. Heavy braking resulted in hazardous veering off to either side at random, partly due to having no ABS as standard.
