Had our Zafira now for two months, having bought it 3rd hand at 66k. Now on 68k and the ignition switch and starter motor have burnt out, no warning, just a sudden death on a nasty junction. Dealer was going to be fine when it was starter motor but refuses now that the fault appears to be the ignition switch (ignition switch not covered in warranty but electronic ignition module is! Someone can probably explain the difference!). Anyway good(?), again, to know that we are not alone looking at some of the comments. Can someone explain why some Zafiras do this and others dont? |
