Our car has been a typical Honda, sailing through each of the 3 M.O.T tests while in our care. The car has had faults, but only fair wear and tear related. One set of tires, Brake pads all round, new cat-back exhaust and rear suspension bushes (common fault on load-lugging estate models). My only gripe is with Hondas Vtech-E engine management system. Driving at constant speeds is almost impossible due to the engine surging between power mode and economy mode. I have lived with this because of the 45mpg the car regularly returns, it really is amazing how a simple green economy light affects your driving!
<br>I cant really comment on servicing costs as I have done all repairs myself. Our local Main dealer has been extremely helpful with free diagnosis etc. |
