Bought a Zafira in Aug. 2005. Had the car converted to run on LPG. Seven months later, the engine blew with no prior warning, putting a connrod throughthe side of the block. The garage tried the usual nonsense about not maintaining oil. Despite the evidence and the fact the fact that I am a trained engineer, the garage obstinately rufused to listen to reason. So I sued them and won. The court ruling that I should not be out of pocket. It is now almost a year since the engine failed and I have still not got my car back, the garage are disputing whether or not, they or I, am responsible for restoring the LPG system. If this is how Vauxhall dealership behave even when they have a court judgement against them, I would urge any potential buyer of this vehicle to have serious second thoughts. |
