I have found this website very interesting,i too had the petrol tank problem and with a lot of calls to customer care got it replaced(known fault).Then i have also had the cam chain snap and had to have new valves, cylinders and MODIFIED CHAIN COVER ,all replaced free of charge(1300 pounds)as vauxhall felt obliged to do so as this is a known fault. I am currently waiting for a mechanic to repair the chain tensioner that has now gone as vauxhall do not want to know as all parts are only guaranteed for a 12 month and i don`t have it regularly serviced by them. They wanted to charge me 350 pounds to strip it down and see what was wrong,4 hours labour??how much!!!. I was interested to see people with similar problems,but you can hopefully get them done if you create enough fuss. We may never buy another vauxhall again,certainly have and never will go to main dealers and on speaking to the vauxhall mechanic on collecting car he said he had asked for 2 hours to strip down and investigate.
