I have had this car for 6 months now, it drives like a 2000, the acceleration is amazing for the size of the engine. Fuel consumption is good but I cant reach the published figures! more like 50mpg. I chose the leather seats as an extra but everything else was standard. (heated seats, electric mirrors, cruise control, 6 CD player, climate control, illuminated vanity mirrors & more) I think the shape of the car is much less quirky than the prius, I personally prefer saloon cars although the hatchback would probably be more practical. This car replaces my S type jaguar and the ride quality and noise levels are every bit as good. Acceleration at motorway speed is good if not a bit strange as the cvt box does not kick down but simply increases the engine revs until the desired speed is reached. To sum up I am very happy with this vehicle and I now visit petrol stations far less than when I owned the jag! |
