An update of my Motability Galaxy, No faults after 2½ years except for two rear bulbs being replaced. I know it is a low mileage car having only done just over 24,000 miles up to now. It's extremely comfortable and in my opinion has a great suspension, soaking up the lumps and bumps in Sheffields' terrible roads. My only fear is the coming winter and the chance of snow like last years. The Galaxy is absolutely awful, the worst car I've ever driven in snowy conditions, and I don't mean 3' drifts, I mean an average depth of 1½" to 2". It's the only car even with it's traction control on and ABS that has scared the living daylights out of my passengers and myself!  The only fault now is when I change my car in March I have to find a car of similar size within my budget as Ford has now placed the Galaxy and the S-Max at stupid deposits. I have been considering the Citroen C4 Grande Picasso and the Renault Grand Scenic but I can't find any reviews for either of these cars on PoL. I have heard that the Renault is better in wintry conditions than the Citroen so I would be very grateful if any one could confirm this.  I have given the car 3 peaches as it's road holding in snow is diabolical and downright dangerous otherwise I would have given it the full 5.
